There are two window shade options in the Hunter Douglas line of products that we’ve found to be very popular with Fort Myers and Naples homeowners.

The Hunter Douglas Luminette® is a sheer vertical blind system. It’s operated through vanes in fabric, which attach to the sheer facings. The panels are controlled through a hidden system above.
The Hunter Douglas Silhouette® brand uses a cordless system and manual operation. Like the Luminette®, the vanes can be rotated precisely to deliver a regulated amount of light. The primary difference is that these vanes run horizontally rather than vertically.
Both the Luminette® and Silhouette® are best for homes with a graceful, natural feel. Most Florida homes feel very well suited to this style of window covering. It’s a good fit for beach décor, Mediterranean styles and also open floor plans which require lots of lighting.
